Trisha is one of the strong contender to play lead in Telugu-Tamil bilingual of Bollywood flick 'Queen'. Now, The makers were skeptical about casting this petite beauty as the lead after she quoted a remuneration of Rs 1.25 crore.

Even actresses like Samantha, Hansika and Charmee are under consideration for 'Queen' South remake. As the lead character gives enough scope for performance, All the top league actresses are keen to feature in the remake if a top filmmaker handles the director.

Surprisingly, Trisha demanded Rs 1.25 crore after giving her nod for the movie. Producer Thyagarajan isn't ready to pay over Rs 1 crore as she isn't in demand these days and he could rope a hot & happening actresses for the same amount quoted by the Chennai beauty.

Star hero Dr. Rajasekhar has got in T-town. But he lost it due to some movies that didn’t suit his originality. Since a few years,Dr. Rajasekhar is struggling hard to survive in Tollywood . And now he is planning to launch his elder daughter Shivani as heroine through “Vandaki Vanda” movie directed by a debutant .
“We’ve been waiting for a good project to launch her. We are glad this project came our way. ‘Vanda Ki Vanda’ is an interesting film and I feel it would be a great debut for Shivani. She plays a very important role in it,” Rajasekhar told the media. without divulging any more details about her role.

“This project will take off only after I complete shooting for ‘Gaddam Gang’. We don’t want to hurry as it’s an important project,” added the actor, who himself has an important role in “Vanda Ki Vanda”. Meanwhile, the actor is awaiting the release of Ram Gopal Varma-directed Telugu horror film “Patta Pagalu”. Official announcement is awaited about “Vandaki Vanda”. RGV Open Challenge To Review Writers

RGV Deeply disturbed with the way many movie critics have ripped apart his latest movie 'Ice Cream' with their critical reviews, director Ram Gopal Varma has written an open letter to media challenging these reviews. However Varma clarified that he isn't writing this letter out of anger.

'I feel pity on these review-writers who always feel angry on me as I don't care about them. All these reviewers who need no qualification to become a review writer should now teach me how to make good films. Rather barking in the dark, they should come out for an open debate to explain how I should have made Ice Cream', said Varma. He challenged review writers saying, 'If they don't come open to talk about it on a public platform then they are like dogs barking in the dark to me'.

'If blabbering whatever that comes to mind after watching a movie is called a review, then every viewer is a reviewer himself. Box office recovery against the making-costs is the actual measurement for a movie's success, and Ice Cream got profits on day one itself', he concluded. Also Ram Gopal Varma asserted that Ice Cream proved a fact that for a film to become a money spinner, production values are not required.

Kajal Agarwal has accepted to do a special number in a women centric small budget film ‘Geethanjali. The Anjali starrer horror thriller is in last leg of shooting and producers approached Kajal recently with regard to the special song. Prolific writer Kona Venkat is co-producing the film.

Earlier there were rumors that Samanta was roped to perform the song.Even though she shared great rapport with Kona our chubuli reportedly denied the offer by citing her dates.After having few discussions, the makers have now zeroed upon dusky beauty Kajal and Kona Venkat has been assigned to get an approval from her. The Tollywood circles are not ruling out this proposal and added there are abundant chances that Kajal will accept the offer.

If everything goes well, it'll be Kajal's first-ever appearance in a special number. Apart from penning script, Kona Venkat is co-producing the film releasing in August.

'Eega' to be released in Turkish language

S.S.Rajamouli's 'Eega' was released in Tamil as 'Naan Ee', Malayalam as 'Eecha' and Hindi as 'Makkhi'. It was also reported earlier that the film will be dubbed in some international languages like Thai and Chinese. The Chinese version was titled 'Kung Fu Housefly'.

Now the latest is that the film will be released in Turkish language. The other details will be revealed soon.

Aswini Dutt, once tagged as Mega Producer known for heavy budget films with lavish presentation of pomp on the screen has gradually went off the radar. In the recent past, Vyjayanthi Movies hasn’t tasted a big success and this kept the top producer away from business. Now and then, his daughters tried a hand with innovative concepts but could not find the magic mantra of their father. Finally, mahesh babu seems to be the hero who agreed to allot the call sheets to Dutt from November of this year.

Although other details regarding cast and crew are unknown, soon after the completion of Koratala Siva – Mythri Movies project, mahesh babu will be occupied for Dutt.

Reacting on these, ‘I would have been happier to accept Rs. 2 Crores if producer has offered such package, as you people have written. There is no hike and no extra payment for ‘Alludu Seenu.’ I took the same payment which I got for other movies. More than money, my association with Bellamkonda Sir is special because he is my well wisher,’ samanta said.

Jr NTR’s ‘Rabhasa’ has made profitable business much before to its release.

The romantic action entertainer made with Rs 35 crore budget, however the distribution rights of AP itself fetched Rs 40 crores.It is really unpredictable as NTR’s current form is unpersuasive. Thus, Rabhasa is confirmed blockbuster prior to its release.

Samantha is playing the leading lady in the movie while Praneetha is playing second fiddle to her. Santhosh Srinivas is wielding the megaphone for Rabhasa while Bellamkonda Suresh is producing it under Sri Sai Ganesh Productions banner. Musical scores are by Thaman.
