'24' is an upcoming Tamil family entertainer film starring Surya and Samantha in the lead roles. The film is written and directed by Vikram Kumar.
As per the latest sources, talented actress Nithya Menon who has attracted the audience with her acting, has bagged a biggie in Surya’s film 24.

Makers of the film ’24’ has approached Nitya Menon with a good offer. After much deliberation, the actress seems to have given her nod to act in the film. Surya himself is producing the film under his 2D Entertainment banner, while music maestro AR Rahman is composing the music for the film.

He wanted to keep a tag line for that as the Father of All Godfathers."Had a most amazing meeting and a most fascinating understanding of the Banglore underworld. The name of my film on the Banglore Underworld is going to be "Appa" and the tagline of "Appa" is going to be -The Father of all Godfathers. Sources confirmed that NTR has agreed to make a voice over for a portion of the movies.It was on the request of his Badshah director, Srinu Vaitla, the actor readily agreed for it and he will dub the 2 minute track. NTR and Charan shares good rapport and earlier Mega Power Star attended the launch of NTR's 2013 movie, Baadshah. In fact, he and NTR came in one car to the event.

Its time to 'Gabbursing-2'

Shooting of 'Gabbar Singh 2' which is rumoured to be rechristened as 'Sardar' began couple of months ago. However, Pawan Kalyan is yet to join the shoot and fans were waiting with bated breath for that moment to arrive. Finally, Director Bobby confirms Pawan Kalyan will be joining the shoot on July 29th. "A very good news to all my power star fans.

The next schedule commences from 29th of July where our power star will join the team too," he reveals. Bobby received the Best Debut Director award for 'Power' during the MAA Cinema Awards Ceremony held last night. He thanked Raviteja for believing in his vision and Kona Venkat for being a support system. He also mentioned about his Screenplay Writers Chakri, Mohana Krishna, Kishore, Cast & Crew for making this happen.

Again a change in 'Kick-2' release date!



Mass Maharaja Raviteja and handsome youngster Ram are eyeing on the same date to hit cinemas. But now, it seems like they have come to an understand and the release date of one kick-ass movie is advanced. In fact, we have already revealed that youngster Ram's latest movie "Sivam" directed by newcomer Srinivas Reddy will hit cinemas on September 17th. Even Raviteja's "Kick 2", a second edition of his superhit Kick, is also planned for the same time. Latest update however has that Kick 2 will be releasing on August 22nd. There seems to be this date is fixed.

Rudramadevi new release date

Rudramadevi is based on the life and legend of Kakatiya warrior princess, Rudramadevi. The director organised a press meet today to announce the film's official release date. Gunasekhar confirmed that Rudramadevi will release on September 4th. The director further said that the post-production activities are going on at the moment and the technicians are giving their best to bring out a high-quality output. Gunasekhar also said that Rudramadevi is a result of three years of hard work of all the cast and crew members.

After thanking Anushka and Rana, the film's leads, Gunasekhar also lauded Allu Arjun's performance as Gona Ganna Reddy and said that Bunny's performance is remarkable in the film. Rudramadevi was supposed to release early summer. However, the film was stuck with financial crunch and even the VFX and EDS 3D conversion took a lot of time to be completed. Some of the VFX works are still going on and Gunasekhar himself is overseeing it personally.

AR Rahman appreciation for Baahubali

There is no end for the appreciation tweets and congratulatory calls for the team of 'Baahubali'. Post the screening of the epic action flick, AR Rahman comments: "After 'life of Pi '  the Indian masterpiece, Bahubali seduced me all the way to the theatre and back with a lingering good taste ..Feeling Yes! we can do this and even more ..". In response to one of the best compliments he received so far, SS Rajamouli tweeted: "arrahman thanks a ton sir. Your words of appreciation are  shots of adrenaline for our entire team. Will work with renewed energy."

Prabhas remuneration for Baahubali!

Trade analysts revealed that Prabhas has took the rights of Baahubali Tamil version as his remuneration. That sold for 18 crores to Studio Green, which we already know is the share of Prabhas. Also Malayalam rights are also said to be taken as his remuneration and they got sold for nearly 6 crores. That means, Prabhas amassed 25 crores for his 3 years of dates including for Baahubali Part I and II.

Kick 2 new release date confirmed

Most awaited sequel of the season, KICK 2 is getting a NEW release date. From May 14th, Raviteja and Surender Reddy's second collaboration Kick 2 has been postponed to several other new dates but never the film manage to strike. It is heard that differences between director Surender Reddy and producer Nandamuri Kalyan Ram are the reasons behind delay though the post-production of the film got completed long back. Latest update is that Kick 2 will be hitting screens on August 14th, a week after Mahesh Babu's Srimanthudu makes it to theatres. 

Baahubali collections Tsunami for two days

Prabhas reveals his favorite actress

Rebel Star Prabhas is busy promoting his film Baahubali, which is releasing many regional languages including Hindi. Prabhas has been promoting the film very extensively in Mumbai. In this regard, he spoke to a leading online portal in Mumbai the other day.

During this interaction, Prabhas revealed some interesting aspects regarding his likes in Bollywood. When he was asked about his favorite actress, without any second thought, Prabhas quickly responded and said that he would love to do a film with gorgeous actress Deepika Padukone.

30% of Baahubali revenue goes to Government

'Baahubali' Tamil version has been cleared Today. The film obtained 'U/A' as expected and it will be having wide release all over Tamil Nadu on July 10th. The only setback for 'Baahubali' Tamil version is the high taxation. At least 30% of the revenues will have to be paid to the State Government in the form of entertainment tax. Whereas in the Telugu states, A tax of 15% is levied on direct films and 20% on dubbed flicks.
