As per the trade analysts, ‘Kaththi’ has collected a net amount of about Rs 12.5 crore on its first day, which is an All Time Record in the Tamil Industry. However, the all India collection is around Rs 16 crore, which includes Rs 1.75 crore in Kerala, Rs 1.5 crore in Karnataka and Rs 25 lakhs in the rest of India. This movie is also the Best opener in Karnataka and second biggest opener in Kerala, the first being Vijay’s Jilla.
