RGV's 'Killing Veerappan' new release date

Ram Gopal Varma's latest movie "Killing Veerappan" has taken huge number of dates so far to announce as release dates. First they said, they are avoiding competition with Shankarabaranam. Then they said that they are avoiding Bengal Tiger. Later they stated that they are coming on 18th. But now that didn't happened. As per reports, "Killing Veerappan" got moved to a new date of January 1st. Though Ram Gopal Varma promoted the film on TV channels as an 18th December release, this change is not known to many. When people are stunned to see that this film is not visible in any theatre, Ramu made an announcement that January 1st is the date.

Nannaku Prematho Postponed!

NTR's Nannaku Prematho will not make it to the Sankranthi release. However, the film's makers released a stylish poster only to confirm that the film is indeed set for a Sankranthi release.
But now, the sudden passing away of DSP's father Satyamurthy seems to have pushed the Nannaku Prematho team in a crunchy situation yet again. If the latest inside reports are to be believed, Nannaku Prematho has been postponed from its Sankranthi release.

Apparently, DSP is yet to compose one song for the film, which he will wrap up soon after he comes out of his grief. This means that even the film's audio launch, which was supposed to take place on Christmas, will also be postponed. Apart from the song, DSP is yet to finish the re-recording work for the second half.

Most likely, The event will be held either on December 20th or 23rd.There are humongous expectations on 'Nannaku Prematho' audio as Devi Sri Prasad already declared this album as his best work till date. Although there were rumors of change in the release date, Overseas Distributor confirms 'Nannaku Prematho' releases on January 8th, 2016 without any delay. 

'Only those two as the big competition for me' - Mahesh

Irrespective of what the star status is, any hero should consider seriously about their competition. Its not about winning over them at box office, but also in picking subjects and entertaining audiences. What has Mahesh babu to say about this?  When quizzed if he's competitive, Mahesh says a big yes- "I' very competitive. But be it Charan, Prabhas or me, there is own space for each one of us. This evening, leading producer Dil Raju announced that he will be launching Devi Sri Prasad as a hero in Sukumar's direction. In one of the promotional interviews for his latest hit Kumari 21F, DSP said that he has been looking for the right script for several years now to make his acting debut.

The rockstar also revealed that all the top league producers like Dil Raju, Allu Aravind, Ashwini Dutt in Tollywood and Kalaipuli S Thanu, Gnanavel Raja etc in Tamil have been expressing interest in launching him as a hero. Comedian Building a Temple for Pawan Kalyan

Comedian Shakalaka Shankar has stated on record that he would build a temple for his favourite matinee idol Pawan Kalyan. He said that he is a die-hard fan of Power Star and said he'd do anything for him. It all happened while doing a skit in Jabardasth show where Shankar projected Pawan Kalyan in Lord Shiva avatar. During then he admitted his admiration for Pawan Kalyan and said that he would build a temple for Pawan. Now keeping his word, Shankar is building a temple in Srikakulam, which is his hometown.

NTR's 26th film under Koratala Siva's direction, have just revealed that Malayali Superstar and national award winning acting legend Mohanlal will be acting in the film. Ever since the NTR-Koratala Siva combination was finalized, there have been several discussions about Mohanlal being part of the film's cast.

However, it is not revealed until now whether Mohanlal will be playing NTR's father in the film which has been tentatively titled Janata Garage. More than 2 decades ago, Mohanlal first made his Tollywood debut with the Balakrishna and ANR starrer Gandheevam, which released in 1994. In the film, Mohanlal appeared in the superhit song 'Goruvanka Vaalagane Gopuraniki'.

Actor Aravind Swamy has demanded over Rs 3 Crore for the Telugu remake of Tamil superhit Thani Oruvan. When producers NV Prasad had approached Aravind Swamy to reprise the same role he essayed in the original, Swamy said to have asked Rs 3 Crore as remuneration. Shocked with the quoted figure, the makers of the Telugu version dropped the idea to cast Swamy.

Even Ram Charan asked the makers to look for other actors like Sudeep or Madhavan or Neil Nitin Mukesh who could do it for relatively less price. Makers want to wrap up the film within Rs 25 Crore budget.

Only 25 Cr Budget For Ram Charan next movie!

Charan's next would have major impact in terms of budgets. As 'Bruce Lee' producer DVV Danayya kept himself out of 'Thani Oruvan' remake, senior producer and uncle, Allu Arvind has jumped into scene now. Major change he will be bringing to the project is the variation in budget. Excluding Ram Charan's remuneration, they want to wrap the whole film in 25 crores and our hero will be sharing business of the film. As Bruce Lee production costs shot up huge and the film got sold for 56 crores, buyers witnessed losses.

Else if it was made below 35 crores, then everyone would have seen no losses first, because producer would have sold it at lower costs. Taking all the equations, Arvind has considerably shrunk the budget, say Geetha Arts insiders. Anyway, that's good for Ram Charan, because buyers will not be revolting if he sells his next flick at low costs unlike Bruce Lee.

"Baahubali 2" is in the news from a time, as the film's shooting is getting delayed due to unknown cause creating doubts on the film's release in 2016.

'Akhil' censor report

Since Mahesh is biggest Telugu star in overseas, much better price is expected in the region. It is learnt that, Rs 13 crore has been offered for overseas rights of the film; however the filmmakers are yet to make a decision on it. But, the deal may close soon as the price is big for a Telugu cinema.

Mahesh Babu has four 'million' dollar films in overseas- Dookudu, 1 Nenokkadine, Aagadu and Srimanthudu. His last outing Srimanthudu helmed by Koratala Siva has made remarkable business in overseas territory collecting over Rs 19 Crores gross. Brahmotsavam is likely to make much bigger theatrical business in overseas since the film is billed to be a feel good family entertainer and has ensemble cast such as Samantha, Kajal Agarwal, Pranitha Subhash, Sathyaraj, Jayasudha, Revathi, Naresh etc.

Nani surprised everyone by revealing the secret about Rajamouli's next film after Baahubali The Conclusion. Nani said that Rajamouli is thinking about extending the Eega franchise with a sequel. Nani further revealed that Rajamouli might start shooting Eega 2 after he releases Baahubali The Conclusion. But Nani did not reveal anything about other details like story or his character etc.

Rajamouli's Eega created across the world couple of years ago. The film entered the 40 crore club without even featuring a star hero and also won several awards at international film festivals and released in various foreign countries in their local languages.

'kick 2' releasing on 1150 screens

So far this is the biggest screen count when it comes to any Raviteja's film in his illustrious career as a hero. Kick 2 got sold out for nearly 30.25 crores in the form of theatrical rights in Andhra Pradesh and Nizam and other locations. TV satellite rights have fetched 7.2 crores while audio rights are sold for 30 lakhs.

For now, the target of the film's release is 30.25 crores "share" from box office to push its distributors into safe shores. Kick 2 will be releasing in 700+ theatres in two Telugu states while other Indian locations add up to 275+ screens. In abroad, the movie is releasing in nearly 175 screens and the screen count might get increased after first day talk.

Tollywood films are being leaked over the net in the recent past, which have become a severe headache for the film makers. Freshly, Jr. NTR’s action scenes from his upcoming film “Nannaku Prematho” seems to have been leaked online.

Here is a pic from the leaked video, in which NTR is seen in white shirt and khaki trousers chasing a goon and thrashing him on the road at some unknown place in a foreign country.

Chiru's clarity on his 150th movie!

Chiranjeevi is going to celebrate his 60th Birthday within few days, All eyes were on the official announcement of his 150th movie. Speaking about the plans for landmark flick, Chiru revealed that he isn't satisfied with the Second Half narrated by Puri Jagannath even though the First Half is impressive and hence the project has been kept on hold.

Sources say, Chiranjeevi has strategically made an announcement on his 150th flick Today instead of waiting till August 22nd as nothing was confirmed as of now and it might take few more months for everything to fall in place.
